Big night last night. Ashlyn finally drank from a sippy cup. First time ever. She did not scream or push it away. Pretty AMAZING, little girl. Don't we love Christmas pajamas to celebrate the last night of September?
We also finished painting our dining room. Normally when we start a project, we like to finish it that day. Not so much with the dining room. Main reason, the ceilings are really high. And we are both too stubborn to pay someone to come in and paint. So we borrowed a 20+ foot ladder, and the rest is history. I painted the majority of the "reachable" areas last week...and then it has been sitting halfway finished all week. And at 8:30 last night, we decided it was time. Bring out the ladder. The REALLY TALL one. I am really pleased with the paint color. It is a dark grayish blue (Behr paint in "Dark Ash"). And after painting last night, I don't think we will be changing it anytime soon (even if I wanted to).
