Finally decided on a frame for our little art project for above the living room sofa...here is our blueprint (ha).

I would like to applaud you for doing such a fabulous job on this mirror. Hard work pays off and you saved tons of $$$. That mirror would've cost you over $150.
Wow that looks so designer quality! Who would of thought you did it yourselves. Love how it all turned out and the way you thought of using that plain mirror as an art piece. So creative.

Fantastic job. I might have to try something like this. Unfortunately, I don't have a spare, large mirror to use though.
Dulce - we used trim/molding that we found at Home Depot. It was already white and I think is a fairly standard design. It is the same type that is on our fireplace. We were just going to go with something plain, but thought that the little ridges would add a cute touch :) We actually put it up with 3M super sticky little squares (sticky on both sides). I don't know the exact name but you can probably find them in the tape section. They are the same type of things you would use to hang hooks on the wall or pictures without use nails. I hope that helps! Sorry for the long explanation! :)

That is beautiful! Did you use the mounting squares to adhere the frame to the mirror or the mirror to the wall?
