I had posted this bedroom a long time ago, too, and really loved the mirror headboard. LOVE the way you recreated it for your living room! I'm going to link to this in a post, if you don't mind.
I would like to applaud you for doing such a fabulous job on this mirror. Hard work pays off and you saved tons of $$$. That mirror would've cost you over $150.
Wow that looks so designer quality! Who would of thought you did it yourselves. Love how it all turned out and the way you thought of using that plain mirror as an art piece. So creative.
Dulce - we used trim/molding that we found at Home Depot. It was already white and I think is a fairly standard design. It is the same type that is on our fireplace. We were just going to go with something plain, but thought that the little ridges would add a cute touch :) We actually put it up with 3M super sticky little squares (sticky on both sides). I don't know the exact name but you can probably find them in the tape section. They are the same type of things you would use to hang hooks on the wall or pictures without use nails. I hope that helps! Sorry for the long explanation! :)
Breathtaking..It looks like a lot of love went into this Anne.. I am so totally in love with your yellow area rug..I am looking for one in a similar color..Would you mind letting me know where it came from and how much it cost you ?!! Thanks !!

Hi! Just dropping by to tell you I included this post in my weekly round-up. Thank you for always having great quality posts to choose from.
Thanks so much Ivonne! Appreciate your kind words!
Looks great!!! What frame did you use for the border & what did you use to keep it up? Same elmer's tape? Awesome job!
Fantastic job. I might have to try something like this. Unfortunately, I don't have a spare, large mirror to use though.

Great! Thank you so much & again, wonderful project!
Your mirror looks great! We may have to 'borrow' your idea when we decorate our living room. Thanks for sharing!

That is beautiful! Did you use the mounting squares to adhere the frame to the mirror or the mirror to the wall?
