FINALLY!!!

Ashlyn turned 6 months old last week. I have been thinking about starting a blog since I found out I was pregnant with her. I thought it would have been such a fun way for friends and family to follow my pregnancy. And all I can say is...the time just got away from me. Soooooooo...here I am, over a year since I first contemplated this idea, and it is just now coming to fruition. I have loved being a mom. More than anything in the world. I can honestly say Ashlyn Elizabeth has brought us more joy than I ever thought possible. I love every little thing about her. Every day seems to bring a new adventure, a new challenge. Lately, it has been trying to get the sweet little girl to eat something other than milk. She has hated every thing we have put in her mouth. I have tried rice cereal with breast milk, rice cereal with formula, rice cereal with apple juice, sweet potatoes, bananas, and squash. And with each attempt to put food in her mouth, she makes this face like, "MOM, that is sooooooooooooo gross, why are you trying to poison me?" I wonder if I will send her to kindergarten with a bottle of formula? hmmm...I guess she will eat when she is good and ready.
