We are turning the guest room into a guest room/nursery. And Ashlyn will stay in her own room. I think maybe they can share once they both get a little older. I say that mostly because Christopher is dying to build bunk beds and that would really only make sense if they were actually sleeping in the same room. And that is definitely a few years down the road.
So for now, my challenge is to create a baby boy room that will double as a guest bedroom. I have been thinking about using gray and navy...but does that look too civil war-ish? Maybe with some red or orange accents?
Christopher mentioned the other day we should paint the crib camouflage. Yeah...I don't really see that happening.
By the way, I think we have officially decided on a name for our little fellow...
CHASE HAMPTON NEWMAN
Our neighbor yesterday said that Chase Newman sounded a bit like a Nascar driver...but a very rich Nascar driver. Haha.

I like the gray and navy color scheme, maybe with lime green?
I didn't know you decided on a name! I love it! He sounds very professional. :)
I like orange accents with gray and navy. Red and navy tend to be overdone (but would still be cute if you go with that!).
Love the name!!
yeah it was hard to get started on our nursery too!!! it was a long ride..good luck with that.
oh here is our nursery if you like to see it

Love the name, Anne! It's so cute!
I do love the name! Are either names family names, or just names you like? I'm with Steph on the orange accent, but is that ok in your oh so Gamecock household?? : )
Laurin...I think you may be right about the orange :) Christopher was not too keen on that idea, haha. Now if only I could somehow get some garnett in the mix...Oh, and Hampton is a family name on the Newman side....and we just like Chase :)
