Finished the little man's curtains. I did not actually sew them...I basically laid the fabric face down on the floor, put the lining on top, and ironed everything together using "stitch witchery". It is one my most favorite inventions ever because you don't actually have to thread a sewing machine and the results still look great (at least from my non-professional seamstress point of view).
And there are about a billion tutorials online as to how to do this so I did not include step by step pictures or instructions.
We are thinking about doing a some sort of roman or bamboo shade instead of the blinds (they are broken) but not sure what yet...so here is the window for now...

I want those curtains for my house! That Chase doesnt even know what a cool room he has yet hahaha :)
awwww....thanks so much! We are loving them too!
I LOVE this. I may hunt this down for my living room. Funny you switched out the blind for bamboo. I just did the same in one room. I was worried how it would look for the road, but I don't even notice since it was only one window. Now I have to decide if I want to replace all the white wood blinds.
Thanks so much - I like the bamboo - I thought it might make the fabric pop a little more since it seems like the white blinds just looked kind of "blah" I honestly thought they would also block out more light than the blinds but they really don't - I guess I need to add some blackout liner at some point :)
