As soon as I mentioned the idea of a paper airplane mobile above Chase's crib (well, his imaginary crib for now) to Christopher, he was sold. Unleash the 10 year old boy in my sweet husband. He looked up all kinds of different designs online and of course tested them out in the house to see how well they flew.
The mobile is actually two kabob sticks (with the sharp ends cut off) tied together to make an "X" and then the planes are hanging with clear fishing wire.
We also finished painting the shelves and adding some baskets and a few other things (including my favorite, a SLINKY!!).
I am still going to make a crib skirt...but I think that is about the last thing. It is nice to be pretty much finished with a little less than 15 weeks to spare.
