Biting, Weight Gain, and a Laundry Mess

Just a couple of things as we start to wrap up this week and head into a glorious holiday weekend!

First up on the agenda is my 19 month old "biter".  Let's face it.  You never want to be the parent of a child who bites others.  Ashlyn bit a friend's daughter about 6 weeks ago.  And then on Monday she bit her babysitters little girl.  Everyone tells me it is perfectly normal for this age, but honestly, it still does not make you feel that much better as the parent.

And speaking of normal, the following pictures are certainly NOT normal for a 4 month old washing machine.

So we now have a virtually brand new washing machine that is out of commission.  How in the world does that happen????  Thank goodness for the warranty. My husband somehow managed to get all of the clothes out of this wrangled mess and we are hoping to get it fixed next week.  Fingers crossed.

And finally, at my 32 week doctors appt. on Tuesday, he told me "It looks like you are getting close to the HIGH end of the normal weight gain spectrum."

Really.

I just stared at him.

This was not my regular doctor (he was on vacation).  Of course I am gaining weight.  I am 8 months pregnant.  And I think that I may be drinking about 10lbs of water everyday with all of this heat.  I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time.  To be honest, I have gained about 28 pounds and am 32 weeks pregnant.  I don't think that is really all that bad.

So here's to the double stuffed Oreo Sonic blast I might eat at some point this weekend just because.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!

OH MY STARS. Don't even listen to that doctor. So you're on the high end of the NORMAL spectrum. SO WHAT?? You are going to birth a PERSON in 8 weeks or less!

There is one of those doctors in every practice! IGNORE. Ask him if he would say that to his wife. Go have that OREO blast. YUM.

What's up with that washing machine. That is NOT normal. Glad it's under warranty. Enjoy the weekend. I've got some projects to tackle.

Aww-hope the washing machine gets fixed soon! And don't worry about your "weight gain"...you've got 8 weeks left so enjoy your milkshake! Love you!

Um, pretty sure that I gained a whole 45 lbs being pregnant and lost it all in a matter of about 3 weeks! Go treat yourself and don't let that doctor deliver your baby! haha!
