Work in Progress

Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day weekend.  Christopher and I worked on my mother's day gift together on Saturday during Ashlyn's nap.  We still have a few things left to finish in our bathroom - maybe one night this week.

Here are a few pics of the progress so far...

Looking good. What is your trick for the seams?

I used white spackling (not sure how to spell that?) and applied with with my fingers over all of the nail holes and seams. Then wiped off all of the excess - and painted over with a semigloss white. Once the gaps/seams are filled in with putty/spackling and painted over, they are much less noticeable. There is probably a better way - but this worked for us. :)

Wowza!!! It has come a *looooong* way! That is pretty much the best Mother's day present a girl can get: a pretty bathroom! You know you are talking to a fellow design lover when you hear comments like that! (c: Glad you came to visit so I could find your fun blog! Looking forward to tagging along on the adventures (c:
