Where it all began...

Christopher and I met at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.  He was the blonde cutie on the baseball team, and I played basketball there.

We went back to Florence for a wedding over the weekend - and thought it would be fun to take Ashlyn to the place where our little love story began.

Our first "date" was a Subway picnic lunch on this bench overlooking the pond.  It is hard to believe that was nearly 9 years ago.  We spent countless hours by the pond just talking and getting to know each other.  Such sweet memories.

Ashlyn giving Chase a "kiss."  36 weeks today.

Happy Father's Day to the love of my life and my best friend.  Ashlyn and Chase are so blessed to have you as their daddy and role model.

So sweet, these are such beautiful photos and memories. I used to drive past Francis Marion all the time on my way to Myrtle Beach from WV. We always knew we were getting close around Florence.

It is always so fun to me to read posts of life so familiar, but so far away from where I am now in NM.

Crazy! I just found your blog through TheArtofDoingStuff and was laughing at your pregnancy induced house projects. I am up, unable to sleep, and I am not doing a thing in the nursery but I am dreaming up new curtains for the living room. I was 36 weeks on Sunday too -- due July 17th. Happy new baby-to-be!!
