I am thinking about making some of Chase's baby food. I did not make any for Ashlyn - so this would be a first in the Newman house.
Is it weird that I am kind of sad about starting him on solids? And I think the main reason is because I have been his only source of nourishment since he was in my belly - and it makes me a little sad to think that he will want and need more than just me. And that he will probably be excited about it.
I guess that sounds kind of silly. I just love my little boy. And I love taking care of him.
My sister got me a 6 month subscription for Christmas. I mean, how much fun is it getting a little box filled with fun beauty samples in the mail each month? I got my first one Tuesday. LOVE.

and chase is just the cutest.... seriously. and next thing you know he will get getting on the bus to kindergarten. ;)
That doesn't sound silly at all! I was so proud that my son grew so much and was so smart when all of his nutrition he had ever gotten, and every molecule and cell in his body came from ME, either through pregnancy or through my milk. It's miraculous, really. And I think I read awhile ago that you're only having the two kids, so I can understand it even more, since Chase would be your last.
Hey Anne! You will love making your own baby food. I did it with B and plan to with A. It is so much cheaper and you know exactly what is in the food. Plus, my friends told me B would be less picky as he got older and they were so right. He will and always has been willing to try and eat most anything. Not silly at all!! Adelynn will officially be 6months tomorrow and we havent started solids either. Exclusively breastmilk :) About a month ago I did try some green beans but she wasnt feeling it so we didnt push it. I'm not in much of a hurry but now that she is 6 months I guess we have to start...it makes me sad too though. We are also planning to make our own baby food (except for cereal...just bought the organic stuff) so I'll be interested to see how that goes for yall!! Keep us updated!
