Chase will be five months old on Wednesday. He can sit for a little while unassisted before toppling over. And he also loves to be held. Ashlyn definitely keeps him entertained, and I love watching him watch her as she runs all over the place.
Nursing is still going well. I think I will wait until next month to start solids. For a couple of reasons. ONE - he seems to be doing fine with just milk. TWO - I have been reading articles about waiting until 6 months to introduce solids. THREE (and maybe this is the biggest reason) - we are already really busy with a baby and 2 year old. The craziness usually starts around 5pm. It's already a hectic time of day - home from work, dinner, baths, pajamas, stories, bedtime. I am not overly eager to add another item to that agenda. So we will wait another month.
I love rocking him at night before bedtime. He just stares at me with those sweet, innocent eyes and smiles as he is drifting off to sleep. Melts my heart. What can I say - I'm in love.
Here is Chase at 5 months.
And Ashlyn at 5 months.

Your two little sweet peas are both adorable! Love those baby rolls!!
Your children are breathtakingly beautiful!
LOVE that you got Chase to sit in the same pose as Ash!
Awww they are so cute!! I love your updates!! I has my first baby this summer (June 18th) so my baby girl and your little man are just a few weeks apart! It is neat to see that he is doing the same things as Adelynn!
What a little love! I want to smooch his little tummy! I waited until 6 months with Ellie for all the same reasons, too. I wait a lot longer to complicate things with the second than I did with the first.
