Today was Ashlyn's last day of preschool for the year. I am so thankful for sweet teachers who invest their lives into little ones.
I remember being so worried about her the first day I dropped her off because she was crying so much when I left. And every day since then she has practically jumped out of the car to go inside. She has grown up so much over the past few months.
I love that we get to have little conversations now. I love that she always asks her daddy to "tickle" (scratch) her back at night. I love that she is such a spirited, independent little girl and I LOVE her sweet sweet sweet heart. If I every say "ouch" she immediately responds - "Are you ok, mommy?" with her head kind of cocked to one side and this concerned expression on her face. She loves to play "peek-a-pie" with Chase and she loves to make him laugh.
A quick peek back. Getting ready to walk in the first day.

Sweet moments!
Love this! So many of those things remind me of G. She'll come sit in our lap and say "tittle, mommy..." and I just melt.
I am so glad you wrote "peek-a-pie" because my daughter came home from preschool saying that and I had no idea what she was talking about. At home we always say "peek-a-boo" and I have been seriously racking my brain for 4 or 5 days trying to figure out what she was saying! Autumn's last day is tomorrow and she is also newly turned two so I understand what you are feeling :) Sweet precious little girls!!
Aww she is just too cute!! How's Chase doing? Adelynn is a crawling machine and pulling up now on everything. I'm afraid she will be walking soon and I am SO NOT ready for that :)
