Baby Pool

This has been a favorite activity lately.  Filling a plastic bin with water and playing in the driveway.  Its a homemade baby pool, and my little man loves it.
I hope he never gets tired of his momma's kisses.

Fun at the pool

Saturday afternoon at the pool.  Ash loved the water even though it was freezing.  Chase loved eating pinestraw and dirt off the ground.
Christopher picked out both of their summer hats :)
She loves pushing her daddy in the water.
And laughs like crazy every time.
Chase's swim "pants".  He will grow into them, I'm sure.

A little bit of everyday

I had a few random pictures on the computer that I have not posted yet.  I don't want to forget these sweet little everyday moments.

Ashlyn loves to play with mommy's shoes and lipstick.  Pretty impressive she can walk in my 4 inch heels.
My messy little eater.
Going for an early Sunday morning bike ride with Daddy. Sorry about the pink helmet, buddy.  That is what happens when you have a big sister.
BUSTED.  Yeah, you little man.
He just can't put enough tiny pieces of toilet paper in his mouth.  I have to dig it out all the time.  He shreds it up and then eats it.

More Kitchen Paint

We have made a lot of changes to our kitchen since moving in this house two years ago.  Here is what it looked like toward the end of last summer.
And after lots of changes, it looked like this last month.

And then a couple of weeks ago, I decided the paint was too dark.

I repainted the kitchen (Ben Moore's Edgecomb Gray). Again, for the 3rd time in two years.  And Christopher finished the crown molding around the rest of the room.  I think that is all for now.

School's Out

Today was Ashlyn's last day of preschool for the year.  I am so thankful for sweet teachers who invest their lives into little ones.

I remember being so worried about her the first day I dropped her off because she was crying so much when I left.  And every day since then she has practically jumped out of the car to go inside.  She has grown up so much over the past few months.

I love that we get to have little conversations now.   I love that she always asks her daddy to "tickle" (scratch) her back at night.  I love that she is such a spirited, independent little girl and I LOVE her sweet sweet sweet heart.  If I every say "ouch" she immediately responds - "Are you ok, mommy?" with her head kind of cocked to one side and this concerned expression on her face.  She loves to play "peek-a-pie" with Chase and she loves to make him laugh.

A quick peek back.  Getting ready to walk in the first day.
