Good morning! Ashlyn went to the beach this weekend with Christopher's parents. I know she is having a blast with her grandparents and cousins. But I am missing this sweet face.
Little man stayed home with us for the weekend. He had his one year checkup last week. He weighed a healthy 24lbs (no wonder my back hurts picking him up out of his crib). Poor guy got stuck with 7 needles! One finger blood draw, two AC blood draws, and four shots. Not fun.
And on a brighter note, he actually started babbling a little yesterday! Our doctor had just referred us to a speech therapist since he had not made any babbling sounds. Such a relief it was to finally hear him starting to "talk."
Christopher and I made a few changes in Ashlyn's room yesterday. When we painted her room last year, it was bad. We did not have enough paint for a second coat and the streaks and bleed through areas have always bothered both of us. Even though no one else would probably notice. So we painted and re-arranged some furniture. And added a new bed that we borrowed from Christopher's aunt. Once I actually get the bed made up, I will post a few more pics. I am excited for her to come home and see her "new" room!
